Steve and Sue Graves, owners of Play-a-Round Golf

In 2006, Steve and Sue Graves set out to serve their local golf community and decided they wanted to provide a golf experience that was different from the norm so they created Play-a-Round Golf, a golf center that welcomed women and children; that allowed players to play in whatever grouping they wished, and at their preferred pace; where players paid only for the amount of time and number of holes they wanted to play.

Play-a-Round Golf centers welcome people of all abilities who are looking to have fun. Steve Graves, Sr., Chief FUN Officer, says their goal is to provide their customers with a top-notch facility they can play year-round. Steve guarantees customers will have fun, or they don’t have to pay.

Golf Simulators

Play-a-Round Golf simulators offer over 80 golf courses, different driving range venues, and a variety of practice options that allow players to hit shots from anywhere on the course. Players can experience the world’s best golf courses on a simulator, including Whistling Straits, Pebble Beach, St. Andrews, and more and can play as a single or foursome, finish a full 18 or only play a couple of holes, tackle a world-class course or take it easy on a beginner track. The hourly price is the same no matter how many people are playing per simulator. The golf simulators capture critical data for each practice shot, including ball and club data. After each shot, the golf simulator presents key data for immediate review and troubleshoots swing problems such as hooking and slicing. Along with the immediate feedback, players can view shots and video analysis via an online account. With the aG Locker App, golfers can stay connected to their game and data from anywhere, anytime.

At Play-a-Round Golf, everyone is welcome, and the facilities are handicap accessible. Kids can play golf, or they can use the giant screens to play other games like darts, mini-golf, and more.

Customers can bring their favorite snacks or have food delivered to their simulator and can bring their own beer and wine for a non-traditional happy hour location.
